On a hot Tuesday in July, the 2nd had the benefit of a Volunteering Day from Lloyds Bank. Marshalled by Beaver leader Valerie, 9 of her work colleagues descended on the hut for a day, sandpaper and paitnbrushes in hand, to give a lift to our hut with some colourful treatment of the internal rafters and some much needed protective coating for our hut's weatherboarding and some of the external windowframes. They also redecorated our old equipment room, now released as the Coldharbour Room, an extra breakout room for our meetings.

Why Coldharbour? Because when we were formed in 1911 we were referred to as the Coldharbour Troop. Thanks to Cate for the suggestion.
